Day 5
March 7, 2005
It was a long drive home and we were all out of money. Tony had a 300 dollar check in his pocket, but because we were out of state it was no good. The whole way back we just hoped that we had enough gas to get us into Cincinatti, otherwise we were gonna be stuck at a rest stop in Kentucky. We did actually make it to a Kroger and Tony got his cash. We filled up at the gas station and made it back to Dayton around 10:30 in the morning.
Even after the never ending drive down there, the numerous flat tires, financial strains, and Tony wrecking his knee(again), it was a fun trip. It helped having plenty of good spots to ride and Mojo there to keep us laughin'. I think that over those two days in Atlanta we've only seen a sample of what it has to offer. So if you ever get a chance to stop and ride around a bit, make sure you do so. I'm sure you'll find something worth riding.
A big thanks to Meejin and her roommates for letting us crash their apartment for a couple nights. That's true southern hospitality. I wish I could show you some of the footage we got. The Felony video is gonna be gooood. Next trip: Nashville...?
