We didn't have much of a plan for this trip, but somehow things didn't seem to go as planned. All we knew for sure was that we were going to leave from the Season house in Dayton Thursday evening and get to Tallahassee sometime the next morning. We even packed sleeping bags expecting to sleep outside under a tree somewhere. We just wanted to get out of to cold weather in Ohio and go somewhere warm to ride.
Our roster included Jon Bechtold(driver and dating expert), Casey Longshore(ambassador to the ladies), Tony Cherry(loves green beans from Golden Corral), Troy Merkle(afraid of girls but not stunts), and myself, Bud Dickman(filmer and full time food fan). Jim Baaske was also on the original roster but ran into car troubles and couldn't make it. That was the first part of the plan that flew out the window.
On the road and ready to rock-n-roll!
We made our first stop somewhere in Tennessee to sleep. Troy hops a rail at 3 AM while Casey and I document it and Jon and Tony sleep in a baseball dug out behind us.
