Tony Neyer's Bike For Sale...

- Tony Neyer needs to have knee surgery, but doesn't have health insurance. As you can imagine, anything involving the word 'surgery' isn't cheap. So to raise money he's selling his bike. Not just another bike with his signature parts, but HIS bike. This thing has got some prototype parts on it and is one of a kind. It's on ebay now, check it out...

Fremont Session...

- Eric K, Aaron, Icepick-Rob and myself drove out to the Fremont park today. I wish that park were closer, it can be a lot of fun.
It's nice being able to ride without having to worry about gettin' your bike or your camera ripped off. Rumors have been floatin' around about some sketchy situations at Highland lately. Apparently a skateboarder had his VX (a.k.a. a pretty expensive video camera) ripped right out of his hands by about 3 dudes. Be careful down there people, be smart.

EK doin' his pre-game stretches.

New camera, rad mini bikes, and good times.
So, my nikon finally after 3 years broke down on me, and after several weeks of not having a camera I finally got me a new one! I used it to shoot some rad photos of Biker Ben and Eric K when they came to Dayton and stayed with me this week. Goodtimes.

Eric K is one hella dancer!

Biker Ben doing Biker Ben things

JG doing a icepick to the sounds of a live jazz cover band. Beast Ice!

This was Awesome!

Biker Ben doing more Biker Ben things.

Ben, doing it one peg at a time.

DIY 35mm and comments enabled
- First of all, I've enabled comments. So you all can respond to posts now...
Secondly, I've been working on this DIY 35mm lens adapter contraption that will allow me to use Nikon SLR lenses on my video camera. If you're familiar with them you may also know them as Depth-of-Field adapters. If you're not sure what the hell this thing is for, the idea is to give you video more of a cinematic look and enable you to have a lot more control of the focus.
Anyhow... I took my adapter down to the trails a week or so ago to test it out and put together a really quick edit.
As you might notice, it's pretty soft around the edges. That's due to a cheap piece of ebay glass that I still need to replace.

I put together a quick and temporary rail mount system so I could do some testing with it. Hopefully by next week I'll have the better rail system finished.
It's taken me awhile to put this thing together, but I'll be saving several hundred bucks over buying one. So I think it's worth it. If you're interested in these things check out some of the legit (and expensive) systems out there...

The Blue Falcon...
- I was browsing through the Verde blog (which is sweet) when I came across this link... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brian_Foster. As I'm sure you know, (b/c it's obvious) BF is one of the raddest riders ever. Check out his 'wiki-bio' and learn more about him. He's got some serious BMX roots! I think I still have a pair or two of the OG Airwalk Foster Bros. shoes laying around at my parents house. I had them in both colors, and I wore them to the race track with my Schwinn jersey while riding one of these.

Thank you Rob Dolecki for taking one of the sweetest photos ever.

Good weekend...
- It was a good weekend of some summertime fun and bike riding. Troy and JG drove up to Toledo from Dayton for the weekend. Here are a few photos to recap...

Biker Ben boostin' one of my favorite lil' jib spots.

Nice face. ha

Grind the inside to hop over by yours truly.

We spent some time at the trails, which was a blast. EK mannin' up and hittin' the big pack.

EK diggin' his bike out of the weeds after bailin' on the big hip.

Good times...

Some of the jumps weren't quite runnin' b/c of some rain, except for the man's line (demonstrated by EK), but we're not men so we mostly stuck to this fun little no-gap hip. JG spinnin'.

I got excited when Meatball showed up. I miss the days of Woodville.

Ninja Trails ya'll...
