Mike Hranica Bike Check

- While out on the road somewhere, Mike Hranica of The Devil Wears Prada snapped a few photos for a bike check. Check www.thedevilwearspradaband.com or www.myspace.com/tdwp to find out when they'll be playin' a show near you. They're comin' to Toledo in May.

BMX Perception and the Hemi

- BMXPerception.com, much like SkatePerception.com, has just been launched. So if you're into shooting photos or videos of BMX go sign up. www.bmxperception.com

- Mutiny has released the "Hemi", which is Justin Simpson's team frame. If this frame is any bit as sweet as Justin is than it's pretty much the raddest thing in the world, and can probably belt out a pretty bad ass heavy metal scream.
Go to MutinyBikes.com to see more photos of the frame and Justin.

Vintage BMX photographs.

Since we are in the mood of posting some old videos. I thought I would post some Old Photos as well!

Most of these photos I took around 2003-2004!

Cellar session

- Biker Ben did a pretty nice job on this web edit of a session that went down at the Cellar this past weekend, and a couple clips of Dane Wild from the week before. Take a close look at Dane's clips... half a crank from a dead stop. Flashy moves, ya'll!

- Last Chenga comp and fufanus

- There's a discussion about fufanus going on on BMXBoard, you used to see tons of fufanus in magazines, videos, etc. But not so much anymore. Is this b/c so many riders are brakeless now? So Kevin Sanchez posted his video of the last Chenga contest where you can see Anthony Villani brakeless fuf'in the subrail (1:55). No footjam style, all pressure on the pedals, that ain't easy!

First video by Kevin Sanchez

I went to my youtube account to find this video and realized that I never uploaded it! Thanks to whoever uploaded this to YouTube 2 years ago! haha
I miss Chenga World.

Summer time edit

- Get psyched up for summer! I know it's a long ways off, but here's a video that Thomas Arend made with a bunch of footage he shot over this past summer. After watching this I reeeally wish the snow would melt and the sun would come out already.

Remixed video part

- I'm gettin' ready to dump a ton of footage off of my computer, but before I did I wanted to edit a video part of myself using all the footage I had collected over the past 4 years. You'll probably recognize some of the clips if you've seen any videos on here or the "Goin' For Broke" DVD, as well as a few clips from the bonus section of Fit Life.
Speaking of Goin' For Broke, you can still get a copy for as cheap as they'll ever get right here: www.perspectivesbmx.com/gfb.html.

Old Troy video

- Thanks to Paul Fisher for uploading this old gem.

- Biker Ben and I went up to TRP the other night. It was the firs time I'd been there since Jason Suchan took it over, and I've gotta say, I had a lot of fun. If you haven't been there in awhile get up there and check it out. They've been making all kinds of changes to the park and it's quite a bit of fun.

That's It

- I got to see the 50/50 DVD, "That's It", last night. I can honestly say it's one of the best videos I've seen in quite awhile. There are so many good riders in Utah. The video's got a good mix of familiar names like Fuzzy, Elf, Matt Berringer, Mike Aitken, Cameron Wood, and Rob Wise. But then there are some fresh faces like Dave Thompson, Tate Roskelley, Def Paul and the list goes on.

The whole video was very professionally done and got me pumped to ride. Too bad it's snowing right now... anyhow, the 50/50 video is definitely worth buying.

Dave Thompson also has a part in the new Shook video "Like Totally", you can see some of the extra footage from Dave's Shook part up on the Verde site at www.verdebmx.com.

- In a thread on BMXBoard a few people have requested some older videos that I made a few years ago. So here's the first of what may be several more to come...
This is "30 Minutes In The Barn". I shot this in Troy's barn back in 2004. The idea was to get the camera out for just 30 minutes and edit with whatever we were able to film in that amount of time. So this is what we came up with...
