Totally serious session, totally serious video...

- Don't forget about the Dirty East Contest this weekend! I'll see you at The Flow!

New spots!

-It's been getting dark earlier and earlier lately, but for a few of us the only time we've been able to ride is during the day anyhow. However, riding in the middle of the day also eliminates the possibility of riding quite a few spots. So lately we've been on a mission to find new spots, or rediscover little spots we've forgotten about. Troy and I drove around for awhile yesterday and found what remains of a small skatepark. We we're so excited just to find something we've never ridden, even if it was just two little skatepark rails. We filmed a little video there, which I will edit and hopefully upload later tonight or tomorrow. So check back.

Greg took us to these wild tranny-walls one day last week. The loose sand and stone took me out pretty quick, but Tony had things figured out.

DVD SALE!!!!!

- If you haven't bought or seen "Goin' For Broke" yet, now is your chance. For a limited time you can buy a copy through the website for $8.00 shipping included!! (to the lower 48 states) You'll be able to buy it at this price until I decide to end the sale, and it may not last, so get on it! I'm doing this for a few reasons; A) I've grown tired of looking at the copies that are still laying around, B) I may be moving again and if I could get rid of them that'd be one less thing to move with me, and C) quite frankly, I could really use some money right now.

- Vote for Schneider's bike shop! myfoxcleveland.cityvoter.com.

- Don't miss the DIRTY EAST contest this year! If you missed it last year, you missed some nutty stuff...

- The Van Orman brothers of Michigan rule. That's why you should check out Ted's new project, "Life?". It's a magazine with a deeper approach to the BMX lifestyle than what you see in most mainstream publications. Issue 1 takes a look at how BMX can be used as a tool to travel the world and learn about new places and people. Which is something I personally enjoy about BMX. Oh yeah, it's all 35mm photography and no ads. Awesome.
You can get a copy directly from Ted or from Albe's.

- The "From Nothing" video premiere party was tonight. The riding is, of course, out of hand. And Doug did a fine job putting it all together. It's well worth the money for a sweet DVD and to support an awesome scene. Go to www.youthbmx.com to check it out.

Troy Tunney and his sweet mustache were in attendance at the premiere.

This has nothing to do with the premiere party, but this photo was still on my camera from the other day so I thought I'd throw it up here with the others. Troy wall riding over a rail near his house. He and the rest of the Season crew are in Colorado right now riding with Mountain Man Jarman.

GO TO YOUTHBMX.COM TO SEE THE NEW TRAILER

- 3 years worth of blood, sweat, and tears will be unleashed next weekend... I think it's going to be EPIC. Cincy locals stack up pretty well. And with Doug Horton runnin' the show, you know it's going to be a good flick.

- Go out to Rise Above next weekend to see the Season Road Trip and Rock N Roll Road Fools 2 videos.

- Some 17 year old kid from Dayton cheated death the other day. He was cited for driving without a license after he ramped his van up a curb, then ramped it over a gap and through a brick wall into the second floor of an abandoned apartment building. Why was he driving without a license? Read the story, the details are just too good. I swear I couldn't make up a story like this if I tried. Dayton, you rule.
