- Mixtape 1... enjoy.

Music is as follows:
"Young Hearts Beat Free Tonight" by Rod Stewart
"Teenage FBI" by Guided by Voices
"Inaction" by We Are Scientists

- The site won't be updated for the next week or so. I'm heading out of town on a Season trip. The crew on this trip will be Jon Bechtold, Troy Merkle, Cory Jarman, Nate Richter, Dave Thompson, Nate Powell, Eben Fischer, Greg Goldberg, and Adrian Vigil. We'll be kickin' off the trip at Nate's jam in Toledo tomorrow and heading out towards NYC from there. I will be filming the entire trip and editing a DVD when we get back, so keep your eyes peeled for that! See you at Nate's jam!

- I found Troy's part from "Let The Good Times Roll" on The Come Up. I'm actually pretty stoked to see that after 4-5 years someone out there is still into it. LTGTR was the first DVD I ever put together, shot it all with my little one chip Sony, and a little bit of Super 8. Watching this brings back lots of good memories...but my, how times have changed.

Don't forget that Troy has a part in the latest Perespectives DVD, "Goin' For Broke"

- Eli Platt is the man!!! Eli, if you are/were a philosophy major, please enlighten me to your philosophy behind that nutty gap to over grind... Get over to Micreation.net to watch what is quite possibly the best web video I have ever seen. While you're at it learn about the new "video widget" Dave Jacobs has cookin' for the new Micreation site.

- The winner of the video contest is... this part featuring Marty Kramar, filmed and edited by Bob Blankemeier of Connecticut! Nice work fellas! And enjoy the new Season goods!

-Thanks to everyone who submitted videos for the contest. Maybe we'll do another one again sometime. Here are a few of other entries that deserve some recognition. Good work fellas.

-More Road Foolin... I was hired to film a small skateboarding contest in downtown Cleveland on Sunday morning. I finished that pretty early, and I don't make it to Cleveland often, so I decided to scope out downtown a little bit. But my bike was broken, so I decided to park the car and walk towards the lake and play around with my new video camera a bit. But then I ran into the Road Fools crew and spent the day with them hittin' up some Cleveland street. So instead of filming seagulls and sailboats, I shot some pretty insane stunts. I was stoked! I can't wait for the DVD. Thanks to Catfish for hooking me up with a bike to ride, and thanks to Walter for lettin' me tag along and help him film. Click here for more Road Fools photos...
Also check RideBMX.com and fbmbmx.com for more updates along the trip.

- I'm sure that by now many of you have heard about the terrible accident that Stephen Murray had at the Dew Tour stop in Baltimore. The BMX community has pulled together once again to help out a fellow rider, and there all kinds of ways you can help...

DK, Albe's, and Props have teamed up to auction off a DK 6 Pack autographed by the entire Rock and Roll Road Fools crew! Mat Hoffman even threw in a signed copy of the "Aggroman, Headfirst, and Ride On" DVD!

This is why BMX rules. When a fellow rider is in trouble and needs a hand, everyone comes together to help out. BMX is a family affair. I wish you the best of luck and a speedy recovery, Stephen.

- What a weekend... Friday afternoon I wasn't even sure if I was going to make it to the Flow for the Rock and Roll Road Fools at all, let alone go to the Chenga 2 Saturday night AND ride street with the crew in Cleveland all day Sunday. It sucked really bad driving straight to work Monday morning after riding all day and being up all night, but it was worth it! I'll be uploading a few photos from the weekend soon...

-Thanks to everyone that submitted videos for the contest. Give us a couple days or so to watch them all and we'll post the winner then!
