- Nathan Powell is almost over the broken clavical. He's been puttin' some work into his ramps so they're in shape when he gets back on his bike. Give him a couple weeks and he'll be back in action.

Nathan's yard is lookin' pretty sweet...

Nathan's been messin around on the trampoline bike since his collarbone isn't quite healed yet. Just be careful, the tramp-bike will get ya! (Just kidding Ben). Table top barspin?

Thomas Arend is livin' the grimy life. When he's not out collecting cans he's playin' in the dirt at the trails, or NOT showering. And not caring either.

- There's going to be a real cool event going on at Dodge Skatepark in Columbus on August 25th. Riding, good times, best trick contest, park facelift, live DJ, free art show, food and drinks, it's all goin' down. Check the flyer or www.myspace.com/f3deralcrime for details and directions.

- Some locals in Northern Virginia are petitioning for a park in Prince William County, check out the online petition, especially if you're from that area. http://www.gopetition.com/online/9146.html

- Jeff K. and the Midwestbmx.net crew have been workin' on a full length video, and the line up looks pretty good. There Perspectives crew will also be contributing some footage. Check http://www.myspace.com/95172710 or http://www.midwestbmx.net/ for more info. They haven't come up with a name for the video yet, so if you think you've got a good idea, let them know and you might name it for them. Also, Jeff and Dom just got some midwest t-shirts printed up that look pretty sweet. $12 a piece, go check em out.

- It seems like "It's On" came out just a few days ago, but trailers for the next Shook installment, "Break The Tape", are online now. There will be 3 exclusive trailers all together. The Def Grip and RideBMX edits are up now, but keep your eyes peeled to shookin.com for the full trailer. It'll be full of hot moves.

- Now that Ryan Howard has a car we've been gettin together and filming for the DVD a lot more lately. Here are a couple recent photos...

Ryan was lovin' these rails. I think he did every grind he knew, both ways. Oppossite feeble.

This is what street is about, workin' with your surroundings. Ryan found this old kitchen counter next to the dumpster, then went rail-to-feeble 180.

- Season has two new shirts out now. Check em out at www.seasonbikes.net.

- There's a new featured photo. This one is of Troy Merkle doin' a long hang ten at some loading docks. Check it out...

- This past weekend a few of us drove up to Michigan and rode a few things up there. We didn't take a whole lot of pictures, but some of what we did shoot are posted below. It was a pretty good weekend despite a few mishaps. On Saturday Greg broke his ankle trying to 360 out of a bank and over a park bench, and on Sunday Jon's camera was broken. Big thanks to Joe from Grand Rapids and Jim Baaske for letting us crash at their cribs.

Jon's camera was drilled by a tailwhip. Bum out.

Ryan Funnell sliding a rail in Grand Rapids.

Half a peg up front, no peg in the back. The Merk-Man.

The Merk-Man again, rollback whip in Grand Rapids.

Ryan Howard has rails dialed. He got his bike off the rack, looked at the rail once, and pulled this over grind first try.

Pat Ellis barspinning off of a sign into a grass hill.

The Gremlin 180ing over a rail into a bank.

Jim Baaske is the silent killer. One minute he's sitting back real quiet, the next he's going full throttle at a pedal grind.

- The John Ludwick Jr. interview and bike check is now up. Take a peak to learn a little bit about John and his sweet ride. CLICK HERE

- A big thanks goes out to Jeff K. from midwestbmx.net for the John Ludwick interview photos as well as these gems below. I'd also like to say get well soon to Jeff, who will be off of his bike for awhile. He joins Nathan Powell on the broken collar bone list.

- Last week there was a little jam down at the trails. Taylor took some pretty sweet photos...

I've known James for a couple of years or so now, and I'm not sure if I've ever gotten his lastname... James from New Carlisle.

Josh Flore with some trail style.

Another turndown photo, but a little different flavor. Cory Muth.

The father of 1148, John Fecke.

I'm not sure if Brian's last name is spelled Cambell or Campbell... either way, he still has an OG Hoffman Flash that I'm jealous over.

The man behind the lens, Taylor Foiles.

- FBM and Duffs are hosting the "Ramen Noodle Championship Bowl Jam", Sunday July 23, at X-Dreams Skatepark. There's $500 up for grabs for the best trick/line, as well as $100 random cash handouts for the best dressed, biggest ape, etc. Visit www.fbmbmx.com or www.xdreamspark.com for more info.

- I've added a couple links to the links page, check it out.

- Here are some more fresh photos...

Adam Baumker is lovin' his new D70. Here's a picture that he took of Noah Zyduck doin' a turndown transfer at Highland park.

- Kevin Sanchez is straight outta Concord, Ohio (yeah, I'm not exactly sure where that is either), and he put together a promo video for a project he's working on. Check it out...

- While you're lurkin' out the internet videos check out the BMXFU promo.

- Things have been busy lately, we've been gettin' out and riding every chance we get, and I've been gettin' behind on the photos. Here are a few, but I'll have some more from the trail jam and other stuff within the next couple of days. Thanks to Taylor Foiles and Zach Smith for sending these. Stay tuned...
