- Elliot Van Orman was nice enough to answer a few questions for me about his new video. Click here to read the interview and watch the trailer.

- The Flow is holding a rhythm contest July 6th, for more info visit www.ridetheflow.com.

- First thing I want to point out is that we had the wrong date for the TRP contest, it is now going to take place on August 5th. The flyers and everything on the site have been fixed.

- The trailer for "Goin' For Broke" is now up over at www.woozybmx.com. Go check it out...

- Jon Bechtold, Casey Longshore, Greg Goldberg, and Anthony Barton went to Nashville this weekend to film for the video. Immediately after they arrived and while unloading the car, Greg was warming up and struck by a police car; which sent him rolling in the street. As far as I know nobody was seriously hurt, but they were held at the scene for a pretty long time and lots of cops and fire trucks showed up. Not a good way to start a trip. I'll get the rest of the story when they return...

- If you missed the mayhem that is Bone Deth, then here is a video that someone posted on BMXBoard.

- Nathan Powell and Dustin Bauer have bios in the new Dig. Take a peak...

- In other Nathan Powell news, he called today to inform me that he broke his collar bone while riding through downtown Toledo. He may need surgery, and filming for his part in the video will inevitably be pushed back by a few weeks. Coming off of the injured list, however, is Auston Gregory. After a mishap in a pool about a week and a half ago he'll be getting 5 staples removed from his head on Tuesday. Hopefully everyone is back to 100% again soon, being injured sucks!

Goin' For Broke Trailer!

- Here's the video trailer, finally! Sorry about the wait; I've been tryin' to get this thing up online for a few days now. Anyhow, the trailer only shows a few of the riders that will be in the full video. I'm still waiting for some people to turn in their tapes, but once I get footage from the rest of the crew I'll put together another trailer featuring everyone. The video will feature riding from Nathan Powell, Dane Wild, Tony Cherry, Matt Skaggs, Ryan Howard, Jon Bechtold, Casey Longshore, Charlie Crumlish, Anthony Barton, Troy Merkle, and probably a few more before we're finished filming. If you're interested in submitting some footage and have a 3 chip camera, get ahold of me at bud.perspectivesbmx[at]gmail.com. Without further delay... here is the trailer for "Goin' For Broke."

You can download the higher quality .mov version here.

Copy this code into your myspace and interbmx profiles to help spread the word...

- Head on over to EtiketClothing.com to see a video of Nathan Powell that Biker Ben Stalets edited. It's pretty good. Speaking of Nathan, he's at Woodward right now, probably learning front flips or something. And he's got a small bio in the new Dig magazine. Check that out if you get a chance.

- There's going to be a street jam in Grand Rapids, Michigan July 29th. Check out this flyer.

- I've been gettin' behind on the photos a bit, so here are a few...

A couple weekends ago Jon, Troy, and Casey drove out to St. Louis and back. This is the Gremlin tire ridin' one of the infamous Indiana rails. Gremlin photos: Merk-man

There are lots of urban myths and legends about how Athens, Ohio is supposedly one of the most haunted places in America. Nathan Powell isn't afraid of ghosts or steep handrails in the dark. Photo: Chris Thibo.

This is the new featured photo, but I never got his last name. So until I get his lastname, he's Kevin from Columbus. Kevin, if you happen to read this, email me at bud.perspectivesbmx[at]gmail.com so I can fix it. Photo: Chris Thibo.

- Head over to DefGrip.com to see a new trailer for "It's On," the latest Shook release.

- Long time Chenga locals Kerry Sayre and Dominic Jacobs have teamed up to open Rise Above, a bike and skate shop in Lorain. By the sounds of things, it should be a pretty sweet shop with a good size inventory of BMX goods. They should be opening soon, but they're holding the official grand opening celebration on July 8th. The store is located at 550 Broadway Ave., Lorain, Ohio. 44052. Mapquest it for directions, or if you wanna know more about Rise Above check out www.myspace.com/riseabovestore.

- Ryan Pratt sent me this video of his buddy Corey. Check it out..

- Anthony Barton of Louisville and Any Means Clothing Co. will be contributing to the Perspectives DVD with some footage of himself and the Any Means crew. Charlie Crumlish of Buffalo, NY will also be involved with the video. Things are shaping up... I hope to get a trailer put together soon. Here are a few photos of Anthony...
