- There is going to be a contest at Section 8 Skatepark on Saturday April 1st, as well as a jam the night before. Sadly, this will be the final contest at Section 8, as they are expected to close sometime this summer. Check the flyer or www.section8skatepark.com for more information.

Biker Ben Stalets pullin' a hangover toothpick across some benches near his house.
- Check out some of these new photos of Eric Halka, Thomas Arend, Nathan Powell, and Biker Ben Stalets.
- Everyone and their mother has a myspace account, so be sure to add the PerspectivesBMX myspace to your friends list. Then after you do that post a bulletin about it so all of your friends can add it too. www.myspace.com/perspectivesbmx
- There's a news post over at www.teamyoungbmx.com about a new skatepark going up in Farmington Hills, Michigan that looks like a really sweet park. But bad news is that bikes may not be allowed. So get your butt over to the Team Young site. Joe posted a bunch of information about the park as well as some contact information. Do your part and contact the Farmington Hills parks officials, show some interest, but don't be a "biker punk with an attitude." Be polite because nobody will listen to a jerk.

- Peg Leg Clothing is filming a team video right now. No word on the release date yet, but if you've seen the Peg Leg section in Shook Interactive's "We Are Everywhere", then you know their full length video should be a good one. To see their part in Shook pick up a copy at www.shookin.com or for more info on Peg Leg check em out at www.peg-leg.net.
- If you're not familar with Love Cinema take a look at this short documentary. It's one of the best short vids I've seen in awhile and I think it speaks for most of us. Head over to www.myspace.com/lovecinema to check out some more Love Cinema vid's and add them to your friends list while you're there.

Jon Bechtold pullin' a feeble up to barspin for the new PerspectivesBMX DVD that's in the works!
- We have started filming for a full length video that we hope to have out on DVD sometime in the fall. There isn't a title yet, but we've got several filmers and riders that will be contributing. A list of featured riders will be posted at a later date, but for now we're gonna keep ridin' hard and filmin' everything that goes down. Keep your eyes peeled for more info.

The Gremlin icepicking up a wheelchair ramp.
- In preparing for the new full length video, I've been going through and getting rid of a bunch of old footage on my hard drive. So I've been editing little montages and mixes. Here's one: Street Mix vs. Ramp Round-up: Round 1.
- After 3 1/2 months Ben Sammons of Death Industries finally got his cast off. www.deathbmx.com.

- Thanks to Troy Merkle, Eric Halka, and Thomas Arend for the photos this update. I'm on spring break next week which means I'm gettin' out of Toledo and hittin' the road. Jim Baaske and myself will be teamin' up with the Season crew for a trip to Tallahassee and back. Expect a good update when we return.

Noah Zyduck was back in town from Athens for a few days. Over icepick and back over on a mellow spine ain't easy.

Thomas Arend likes tight jeans.
